Bordando Nuestras Raíces has been invited as a special guest to celebrate the launch of Volaris’ new flight route from Ontario, California to Morelia, Michoacán! ✈🌎

Our president, Violeta Suazo, proudly announced that Bordando Nuestras Raíces will take part in this important event, which not only strengthens air connectivity but also uplifts and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Michoacán. 🌽🎭🌺

As the capital of the state, Morelia is a key destination that offers a vibrant blend of artisan crafts, cuisine, history, and cultural events—and serves as a gateway to several Pueblos Mágicos.

Our organization continues to grow and build meaningful connections across borders, committed to serving the Mexican diaspora in the U.S. and advancing art, culture, tourism, and education. 🤝📚🌍

This expansion will significantly grow Volaris’ presence in Morelia with 8 new routes:

✅ 3 domestic: Mexicali, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, and Puerto Vallarta

✅ 5 international: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio (Texas), Ontario and Sacramento (California)

With a total of 17 routes, Volaris is now the largest airline operating out of Morelia—where it began in 2007 and has already served over 7.7 million passengers. 🛫💼
